Layouts to share

Will hopefully get lots done at the weekend too as I'm going to my first every crop! It's at Pickleberry Papercrafts - a gorgeous new shop filled with scrummy goodies, so I'll probably ended up spending too - oops!

Di Hickman Dec #3

Here's my sketch team card for this week's fabby sketch on Di's blog.

Once again, I've used the scrumy Be Merry papers from My Minds Eye, along with one of the snowman die cuts and a Rusty Pickle "Let it snow" sticker, finished off with a bit of doodled stitching, which I'm very into at the moment for some reason!

Di Hickman Dec #2

Here's my sketch team card for Di's latest sketch. I really loved this sketch and it came together really quickly!

I've used the gorgeous Be Merry range from My Mind's eye (possibly my favourite range this Christmas!) and the "Peace on Earth" sticker is from Rusty Pickle.

You can find this and all Di's sketches on her blog.

Theresa's class

Here's my entry for Theresa's "folding" challenge - and yep, sorry, another pic of me as a little 'un! LOL

This picture is very special to me - I am such a Daddy's girl - and of all the photos of me and my Dad taken over the last 27 1/2 years this is my favourite!

As it was taken on the beach I decided to combine it with Theresa's challenge and make some windmills (or pinwheels if you're American!). You can just see the windmill in the corner of the pic - always had to be bought one when we went to the beach!

I've used Making Memories Noteworthy 2 papers and scalloped velvet ribbon, Rusty Pickle trims, HOTP Great big brads and rub ons. The title is a My Minds Eye Transfer title - no thickers for once! LOL

A productive day yesterday.....

.....3 layouts in 1 day!

This first one is for this week's Scrummy Stash Cafe challenge to use quotes. I dug out an old flair designs vellum quote book I've had for ages and found this rather apt quote. Everything on this page is from the My Mind's Eye Bliss kit from Scrummy Stash Cafe (and I've now completely used it up!)

This second LO uses papers from Crate paper, My Mind's Eye (out and about #2) and Rusty Pickle (Mayflower) and a page from the MM 5th Avenue journalling notebook as well as some ribbon and blooms from a Little Silver hat kit, some crochet trim and blossoms, some felt fusion and a 7 gypsies buckle. For the title I used American crafts chipboard thickers and a Heidi Swapp chipboard alpha.

The last LO used up the last of my My Mind's Eye Out and about #2 kit from Scrummy Stash cafe along with some Penny Black alpha stamps and some cheap foam alpha stickers from the pound shop!

Not bad for a day's work eh?!

Carol's blog candy sketch

I found Carol's blog when she left a comment for me the other day, and I noticed she was running a blog candy challenge - she's giving away some yummy stuff so I had to have a go!

Here's my take on the sketch she gave to work with, using My Minds Eye Out & About #2 papers and an imaginisce stamp.

Have also done a LO today for the latest SSC challenge, but it's too dark now to take a decent pic - so will share tomorrow!

The dare over at DCM this week is Love and Friendship - so I made this cute little "Friends forever" card. Everything I used is from the My Minds Eye Out and About #2 kit from the Scrummy Stash Cafe.

Di Hickman Dec #4 and Jan #1

Here's Di's latest sketch and last week's too (where did that last week go?! LOL).

For the Jan # 1 sketch (which is probably my fave so far!) I used My Minds Eye Bliss papers, Doodlebug cardstock stickers and various blooms, primas and gems.

For the Dec #4 sketch I flipped it through 90 degrees and used My Minds Eye Out and about #2 papers, die cuts and a really cute crocheted flower (so wish I could crochet so I didn't have to buy them! LOL)

Caardvarks sketch challenge

Caardvarks set this fabby sketch by Becky Fleck this week.

I used My Minds Eye Out and about #2 papers from Scrummy Stash Cafe and the alpha stamps are by Banana Frog.
