Cute Card Thursday - Girls just wanna have fun!

This week CCT challenged us to make a girly card - so I was in my element - lurve all things girly!

I used a Cuddly Buddly stamp and some Paper Heart Studio papers, American Crafts ribbon, Doodlebug paper frill and some prima flowers.

A 3 in 1!

Been a while since I've done a 3 in one!

The Saturday work out challenge was embossing, and I've used a cuttlebug swirls embossing folder, which I then sanded - thus covering the DCM distressing dare. The Arty Girlz challenge was to make your own backgrounds, so in addition to the embossed panel, I stamped some Paper Artsy stamps with versamark and chalked them, then added a flower to one panel and a sentiment to the other.

Di Hickman April #4

These week the SSC girls challenged us to alter something. So I altered this box (well decorated really - it's still a box! LOL)

Cute Card Thursday - Transport

I had soooo much fun making this card!! (even if it did take a while!LOL)

When I saw the theme for the CCT challenge this week, I thought I'd look through the cricut Paper dolls cartridge for inspiration, thinking there must be a car of some sort on there - then I came across "Superboy" and his batmobile-esque motor, and just knew I had to use him!

Stripy paper is by Pebbles inc. zig zag card by DCWV and everything else cut from the paper dolls cartridge.

Arty Girlz - Triangles

Arty Girlz challenged us to use triangles this week - I kinda went for the easy option and used 2 triangles of paper to cover a square card blank!

Basic Grey Mellow papers and bazzill bling blossom from Scrummy stash cafe mellow kit, paper blooms and ribbons from Little silver hat kit, magnolia tilda stamp.

Di Hickman April #1

Here's my take on Di's latest sketch - thought I'd make a more masculine card for a change!

Everything on the card is by HOTP.

Daring Cardmaker's - Shrink to fit

A toughy from DCM this week!

You are allowed to cover no more than a 5x5cms area of your card with paper or embellishment - the rest of the card must be left plain.

I'm going to let you add a SIMPLE greeting as extra to your 5x5 allowance!

I cut the scalloped circles with Marvy punches (just within the size allowance luckily!!), then watercoloured this cute little house stamp by Stamps Away, to make a simple new home card. The congratulations stamp is by A Muse.

Check it out!

Samm's blog that is! She's giving away some yummy blog candy HERE.
