Di Hickman Dec #4 & #5

Catching up with Di's sketch cards again! Here are the last 2 from last week and today - you can find this week's sketch HERE.

These are both pretty much exclusively Doodlebug supplies - I just LURVE Doodlebug!

I've been busy this week, adding more to my MISI store and listing some old stash on ebay, UKS marketplace etc.

So it just remains for me to wish everyone a Happy New Year - hope 2009 is a good one for all!

Di Hickman Dec #3

Here's my sketch team card for this week's fabby sketch on Di's blog.

Once again, I've used the scrumy Be Merry papers from My Minds Eye, along with one of the snowman die cuts and a Rusty Pickle "Let it snow" sticker, finished off with a bit of doodled stitching, which I'm very into at the moment for some reason!

Papertake - Dawny's Sketch #4

Here's my take on this week's gorgeous sketch from Papertake. I've used Basic Grey Periphery papers and an Imaginisce Bazzill bling blossom, and the brad is from Dovecraft.

Thanks for looking

Penny Black Saturday #26

Here's my take on the sketch from Penny Black Saturday, which I've flipped. I've used Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine papers, making memories ribbon and a cuddly buddly sentiment stamp - along with one of my favourite PB's - just how cute?!

Thanks for looking

CPS #94

As per my post the other day I've made the time to do some challenges this week - and realised just how much I'd missed them!

So here's my take on the latest fabby sketch from CPS - a nice simple "Get Well" card, using Dream Street Gracie papers - and this will be joining all my other cards in my MISI store.

Thanks for looking

Di Hickman Dec #2

Here's my sketch team card for Di's latest sketch. I really loved this sketch and it came together really quickly!

I've used the gorgeous Be Merry range from My Mind's eye (possibly my favourite range this Christmas!) and the "Peace on Earth" sticker is from Rusty Pickle.

You can find this and all Di's sketches on her blog.

A mammoth task!

So today I decided to photograph all my cards to put in my MISI store - and my god I never knew there were so many *and that's after 2 craft fairs* eek!
Anyway, I did it, and now I've just got to upload them all!
So I've no more stuff to make for fairs, and only the family Christmas cards to make - so I thought it was time to start doing some challenges again!
So I've been trawling my favourite challenge blogs, noting down challenges and printing off card sketches, and tomorrow I'm going to lock myself away and create - so watch this space!

A new venture!

I mentioned a few weeks back that my first craft fair was coming up - well it was last Saturday and it went very well!

Whilst there, a lady (who bought a fair few bits!) informed me that her school was having one this Saturday and did I want to attend? Well, yes! So I spent all week replenishing my stocks, and had a very successful day yesterday too!

So, on the back of this success, I've decided to sell online too, and have set up my own MISI store, which you can find here:

Here's some pics from last week's fair - shame I didn't take some at the end to show how much I sold!

Well that didn't work!

So much for scheduling my cards for Di's sketches!! I'm now very behind, but I promise to try harder!
So here are the cards for the last 3 sketches - this week's sketch is one of my faves (the baby card) and I actually sold this card last weekend (more about that in the next post!)
