Cute Card Thursday #12

Here's my take on this week's patterned paper challenge - using 3 bugs in a rug tickled pink paper.

This card came about this morning when Ash phoned from work and said one of the girls was going to a Maids & Vicars party and could I make her a thank you card with a maid on by tomorrow?!!

So, with a little imagination and some help from my Paper Dolls cricut cartridge, this is what I came up with!!

Oh, and if anyone's interested, I made her up using the hair and headwear from the pixie, shoes from Prom girl, dress from ballet dancer and apron from pioneer girl, which I cut down to make it shorter.

CPS #66

Here's my take on the latest CPS sketch, using Basic Grey Phoebe papers, Bazzill and HOTP flowers and a scalloped circle cut using the Mini Monograms cricut cart.

Tilda & Co #21

Here's my card for the "torn" theme over on the Tilda & Co blog, using Basic Grey Phresh & Phunky papers, Making memories and Prima flowers and a making memories brad.

Scrummy Stash Cafe Class

Now, I am totally late in blogging this LO as the deadline was Saturday - but our internet has been out since Friday, so plenty of time to create - just not able to blog it! LOL

Anyway, last Saturday Maria set this fab class over on the SSC blog. I've never followed a class before, and was a bit wary of the stitching as I've never done that either! Nevertheless I had a go, and I really love the result - and will definitely be stitching on my LOs again!

I used Scenic Route cape town papers, and rather than use flowers as Maria had which wouldn't have worked with this LO, I cut out some shapes from the paper and also used some chipboard stars painted with acrylic paint. The title is American Crafts thickers and the journalling stamp is Autumn leaves, cut out with a Marvy punch.

Thanks for a fab class Maria - can't wait for the next one!

SSC - Wedding Bells

The Scrummy Stash Cafe girls set a Wedding theme this week, so I made this very simple card using Rusty Pickle Princess Bride papers and sticker, some black crochet trim and a Bazzill bling flower.

Ismaki #21

Here's my take on the latest Ismaki sketch, also using the bright option - as I do love my bright colours!! Papers are 3 bugs in a rug blossom range, stamp is Cuddly Buddly and sentiment stamps are Doodlebug.
